So, today was Mother's Day. I was hired to play my harp for an event at a lovely botanical garden east of Los Angeles. When I was playing my harp, all the birdies came close in the trees and sang along as I played. I thought it was cute. It wasn't the first time I have had the birds accompany me, but I am always fascinated that they are attracted to the harp music.
It was so hot outside, there was no shade and I was playing in my black tuxedo for 3 hours. Surprisingly, it didn't bother me very much.
Tomorrow is Monday, and this begins another fun-filled week! What did you do with your mother? My mother lives in Florida so we just chatted it up on the phone. We love to talk! blah blah blah blah, all day long.
