A Titanic of an Accident!

THIS IS SO BIZARRE! Today I walked out of Staples at Sunset and Wilcox. All of the sudden a guy behind me yells "Don't fall!" Then out of nowhere a guy zooms by STANDING on the seat of his motorcycle, with his arms outstretched - just like Leonardo Di Caprio in "Titanic." Seconds later, the idot totally wipes out, he rolls 3 or 4 times down Sunset Boulevard and then his runaway motorcycle veered to the left across 4 lanes of traffic going about 50 mph. I heard the motorcycle hit something, probably the side of a car. I saw the motorcyclist get up and casually make a gesture like, "oh darn, shucks," - hardly a big reaction. Fortunately he was wearing a helmet. I yelled at him and said, "You are a f*cking idiot!!" I was so shocked, it just spontaneously came out of my mouth that way. For whatever reason, I decided to keep walking because a large crowd had gathered and cars were honking. It is a miracle the guy was not killed and that his motorcycle did not kill anyone walking down the side walk. The scary part to me is that I was walking on that very spot of concrete on Wednesday. This is a crazy city, never a dull moment in Hollywood! Too bad I didn't take any pictures. It sure was amazing seeing him standing on the seat, he did balance on there for about 20 seconds and it was graceful, I will give him that much credit. If it were 5pm, he would have been run over for sure.
